Summer - Search committee begins compilation of "packet" (binder of information describing the Fellowship)
September - possible follow-up survey
October - Complete informational packet for MSR review
By October 31 - Search committee completes Application for Minister and CR
November - Settlement Office "unveils" CR on-line
Fall - Contact nearby UU congregations for neutral pulpit dates

Open for Business (November 2007- January 2008)
Ministerial Records (MRs) of interested ministers available to Search Committee
MSR conducts third consultation
Call interested ministers and exchange packets with those with whom interest is mutual
Search committee receives, circulates, and evaluates ministers' packets, conducts group phone interviews, checks references
Settlement Office makes available MRs of additional interested ministers on a regular basis
By January 15 - Search committee selects pre-candidates, requests interpretive file summaries from Settlement Office, and schedules pre-candidates for neutral pulpits and interviews

Pre-candidating Weekends (February - March 2008)
Pre-candidating weekends, hear them at neutral pulpits
Search committee checks pre-candidates' additional references

Selection (March - April 2008)
Search committee decides on proposed candidate, does additional background checking
Candidate and negotiating team conclude ministry agreement
Board and candidate execute agreement subject to call and acceptance
Search committee announces candidacy to congregation, reports to MSR and Settlement Office

Candidating Week (April - May 2008)
Candidating week - Candidate preaches two Sundays and meets with committees and groups of members during the week
Congregation votes after second Sunday of Candidating week, extends call and minister accepts

Start-up (August 2008)
New minister arrives
