Rev. Tom Owen-Towle

The Reverend Tom Owen-Towle was ordained in 1967 and has served congregations in Germany, Iowa, Michigan, and California, with the central pastorate of his career being a co-ministry with his life- mate, Carolyn, at First UU Church of San Diego for 24 years. The last five years he has been serving our liberal religion as an interim minister. He is the author of 17 books, themes from which he will emphasize during the course of this year's calling at San Dieguito. The Owen-Towles have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. His hobbies are tennis, guitar, and magic. He anticipates, with great delight, the opportunity to serve UUFSD in a shared ministry. Rev. Owen-Towle will begin his interim ministry in August.
