The Hardscape Group consists of a Group Leader and a few Group Members. The Group Leader serves a 1-year term as a member of Steering Committee and is the liason to the Hardscape Group. The Group recruits volunteers for specific tasks.
The Group is responsible for maintaining and developing hardscape throughout the UUFSD site.

- Fences, retaining walls and swales
- Outdoor sculptures, fountains
- Outdoor plumbing and electrical
- Anticipate and report expenses
- Schedule maintenance
- Plan improvements
- Recruit volunteers
Recruits sign up for work parties, maintenance activities or specific projects.
- Site inspections
- Repair brickwork and masonry
- Fill potholes
- Fix fences
- Dig ditches
- Build retaining walls, levies
- Fill potholes in driveway
- Repaint lines on upper parking lot (Sandy Hill work party)
