Fix Bricks @ Main Steps
A small sunken area of bricks at the top of the main stairs remains as a trip hazard. Lift these bricks out, put in sand and relay the bricks. More urgent is the recent collapse at the bottom of the main steps. A car must have run over the corner and shoved the railroad tie out of place. Remove the loose bricks. Reinstall the railroad tie. Pound in re-bar or steel stakes to hold the tie. Then replace sand and relay the bricks. REQ: 2 people for 3 hr, trowel, prybar, sledge, sand, gloves, goggles. |
