A Note from Board President Linda Giannelli Pratt
During this Pledge Drive, we have an opportunity to focus on why we care deeply about the values of Unitarian Universalism. In a time of chaos, we gather to share our Sunday mornings, we listen to sermons that touch our heart and music that lifts our spirits, and we see the young children joyfully bounding off to classes. We join service and social
committees where friendships blossom. We can stay grounded by reminding ourselves that Love is the power that holds us together and is at the center of our shared values.
Our Minister, our staff, our water and electric bills, our insurance policies, maintenance costs, and a whole slew of other things are funded by YOU. We have no other financial
resources. This year, the goal is $380,000. It has increased for the same reasons your annual costs have gone up at home. We need this to sustain our spiritual home. Will you make your first pledge? Will you consider increasing the pledge you made last year? We can achieve our goal if everyone promises to give what they can in 2026-27. Thank you for your consideration.
