and winner of the Booker Prize, Orbital by Samantha Harvey.

A space station orbits the Earth 16 times per day. Aboard, 6 astronauts

experience the wonder and beauty of a world up close in the window, but

whose inhabitants and troubles are not in view. What do they do in a day?

What does their view of our "big blue ball" of a planet inspire?
