Concerts with a Cause Needs Volunteers

July 12th - Doors at 3 + Concert at 4 - Founders Hall, Core Area + Amphitheater

UUFSD will be presenting Concerts With a Cause, a series of musical concerts starting in December 2026. Each performance is paired with a local nonprofit organization that will benefit from the proceeds. The season spans the full spectrum of live music: jazz, folk, Broadway, Irish, and blues — something to move every kind of soul. More details coming soon.

The first note plays July 12, 2026, when Ruby and the Red Hots take the stage in our amphitheater for a special benefit concert to launch the year-long program. We need volunteers to make this a successful fundraiser. If you can help, and you haven’t already signed up, please email Lisa Shaffer. Let me know if you are flexible about where we use you, or if you have a specific thing you're offering to do from the list below.

On July 12:

Direct incoming traffic to overflow parking (2 people)

Stand in Le Port lot and give gate code

Greet and Take Tickets (6 total if possible)

Serve/sell beverages (at least 2) (are you willing to take a brief online course to become certified in Responsible Beverage Serving so you can legally sell alcohol at events? Currently we only have two people who are certified.)

Work in Kitchen/FH to set up, monitor & serve (at least 2)

Direct people to their seats and distribute programs (at least 2)

Staff the Greeter table during concert with food and drink (need RBS certification)

Donation trackers for Paddle Raise – at least 2

Clean up – 3 or 4 if possible
