Sacred Texts Discussion Group

Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes (1841-1935) once said, "Science makes major contributions to minor needs, but religion, however small its successes, is at least at work on things that matter most".

Which brings us to our Sacred Texts Discussion group, which meets next in person Tuesday September 8, 2:30-4:00 in the Admin Conference room. All are welcome to share a reading, or just listen and participate. (ZOOM can be accommodated with prior notice).

Last meeting, Robin Mitchell shared the book "The World's Religions" by Huston Smith; Simona Bartl shared a couple of books including "The Spiritual Child" by Lisa Miller; Glen Bowden read from "The Essential Rumi" translated by Coleman Barks; and Mary DeMeo read from the poetry of Han Shan.
